This is a fixed type of High Explosive Squash Head (HESH) round,   which has been introduced into service for use with tanks of eastern origin, having 100 mm gun. The ammunition is designed for use against armoured targets and bunkers. It is also effective against   concrete fortifications, buildings etc.
